Accessibility statement.
Ecom Majesty is committed to making ecommajesty.com accessible to all users. We specialise in conversion-focused ecommerce UX and hold our own site to the same standard we apply to our clients' stores.
Our target standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility. We work with clients across the EU, the UK and the US, and WCAG 2.2 AA is the common standard referenced by accessibility and equality frameworks in each of those markets, including EN 301 549 in the EU, the Equality Act 2010 in the UK, and the ADA and Section 508 in the US.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer) on every page. - A skip-to-main-content link on every page for keyboard and switch-access users.
- Logical heading hierarchy — a single
h1per page, followed byh2andh3in order. - Visible
:focus-visibleindicators on all interactive elements. - Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.2 AA for all body text and interactive controls. (Note: lime
#d9ff62is used only on large display text and non-text elements on dark backgrounds, never for small body text on light backgrounds where contrast would fail.) - All form fields have programmatic
<label>elements and descriptive hint text, witharia-liveregions for inline error and success states. - Motion is progressive enhancement only — all animations honour
prefers-reduced-motion: reduce. - All page content renders in static HTML — no copy, headings, or interactive elements are hidden inside JavaScript. AI and assistive-technology crawlers receive full content.
- Touch targets are at least 44 × 44 CSS pixels on all interactive elements.
- Images and icons include meaningful
alttext; decorative elements are markedalt=""oraria-hidden="true".
Known limitations
We regularly test and improve the site. The interactive Cal.com booking embed (third-party) may have accessibility characteristics outside our direct control; we include a direct booking link as a fallback. If you experience a barrier not listed here, please tell us so we can address it promptly.
How to report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, email us at [email protected] with a description of the issue and the page URL. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Technical information
ecommajesty.com is built with Astro and outputs static HTML. JavaScript is used only as progressive enhancement for animations and tracking. The site is fully operable without JavaScript and provides all content to assistive technologies that read HTML.
Compatibility
This site is designed to work with modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and common assistive technologies including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.
If we don't resolve it
We treat accessibility barriers as defects and aim to fix them quickly. If you are not satisfied with our response, email us again at [email protected] and we will escalate it internally. Depending on where you are based, your national accessibility or equality body may also be able to advise you — for example the Equality Advisory and Support Service in the UK, or the relevant authority under EN 301 549 in the EU.
