What Loox is

Loox is a Shopify reviews and UGC (user-generated content) platform focused on photo and video reviews, offering automated post-purchase review request emails, on-site review widgets, and a referral module — all designed to convert social proof into visible trust signals on product and collection pages.

How we integrate Loox with Shopify

Loox installs from the Shopify App Store and connects to Shopify's order data to trigger review request emails automatically after fulfilment. Ecom Majesty's configuration work covers the review request timing and sequence (including customising the email copy to match brand tone), the incentive structure for photo review submissions, and the placement and styling of review widgets on product pages, the homepage, and collection grids. Ecom Majesty embeds Loox widgets in theme files using Loox's Liquid snippet approach, ensuring they render correctly within the store's layout without conflicting with existing section styles. Where the store uses Shopify's native review schema or another reviews app simultaneously, Ecom Majesty resolves the duplication and ensures clean JSON-LD structured data is output for Google Rich Results. For headless or custom storefronts, Ecom Majesty wires Loox via its API or embedded JS rather than the standard Liquid approach.

What the work involves

  • Review request timing, sequence and email copy configured to brand tone after fulfilment.
  • Incentive structure set for photo review submissions.
  • Widgets placed and styled on PDPs, homepage and collection grids via Loox's Liquid snippets, without clashing with section styles.
  • Clean JSON-LD ensured for Google Rich Results where multiple review sources exist; for headless, Loox wired via API or embedded JS.
